Goldilocks

And I was worried that he wouldn't ever have any hair.

Here he is in July last year:

Making a mountain...

Moles.  *sigh*  I am in a mole quandary.  Do I call a professional to have them removed?...will that do any good, or will they just return?...Is it worth it to have them around to get rid of the slugs that try and destry all my plants?...Is my lawn destined to become uber-lumpy?...Will they destroy all the hard work that Andrew is currently putting in to the retaining wall?  I have so many questions and so few answers.  Maybe that's why all my neighbors have dogs...

Summertime

Well, it has been beautiful summery weather here lately, and the boys have been loving being outside.  I have been trying to grow vegetables (in containers), and am stewing about what to do about the mole situation in our yard, before I try planting anything in the ground.  Darn all this wildlife in the Pacific Northwest  (although I have not seen Chip the Giant Raccoon stroll the backyard recently).

Andrew continues "The Great Yard Project",  clearing the junipers, holly, ivy and other various random and challenging items (trellises, pots, stumps, and large pieces of logs) from the side and back area of the yard.  Maybe someday we'll have it done.  :)

Liam has been teaching Caleb how to do gymnastics...

Outlet Shopping...or Returning

On a recent trip to the outlets to return a few things from my Portland trip...  Although the price and varieties have increased on these bad boys, it was a fun flashback of the three-horse carousel in front of Kmart when I was a kid.  *sigh*  To be young again.  :)

Outdoor Fun

A beautiful day for playing in the sprinklers...
